Field Optics FM-300F FlexLite GunPOD Tripod Gun Mount
Designed to snugly hold firearms that have tapered stocks, the FM-300F FlexLight GunPOD from Field Optics Research enables you to mount a hunting rifle on a tripod for solid support. The sidewalls of the CNC-constructed pod automatically adjust +/- 4° to match the taper of a gunstock or optic. The dual moving sidewalls help to maintain perfect center of gravity on the tripod. The FM-300F has a built-in 4″ Arca-type rail for direct Arca-type tripod mounts. The base features a standard 3/8″-16 mounting socket and includes a 1/8″-16 to 1/4″-20 bushing adapter for mounting on a variety of tripods. Soft rubber pads protect the rifle from being marred. The rubber pads incorporate Picatinny grooves that engage guns with a Picatinny base rail. The FM-300F can also function as a binocular support and automatically align to match the taper of one of the barrels of a binocular.
