Mesa Tactical Urbino Pistol Grip Stock System for Tactical Shotguns – Black
The Urbino® Tactical Stock System was developed based on the specific needs of law enforcement and military professionals. The Urbino stock kit is very popular in our law enforcement market due to the shorter length of pull, allowing the user to wear body armor or bulky clothing without extending their reach.
Injection-molded in glass-filled nylon, the stocks feature a “tactical”12½ inch length of pull (LoP) for enhanced weapon control, especially with body armor; a field-adjustable cheek riser to provide improved cheek weld when used with optics; a Limbsaver® butt pad for greater shooting comfort, especially during long training or certification courses; shock-absorbing rubber grip sleeve to reduce shooter fatigue; and a variety of standard and proprietary sling mounting options.
The Urbino Tactical Stock takes many of its design cues from the Benelli factory tactical stocks. The Benelli stock is the most comfortable stock for tactical shotguns, but like all factory stocks it was too long for tactical applications. Law enforcement and military customers urgently needed a stock with a reduced LoP.
The Benelli M4 semi-automatic shotgun has been adopted by the US Army as well as the US Marines, and is rapidly appearing in American law enforcement arsenals. The Benelli M4, while a terrific shooting platform, is something of an orphan when it comes to aftermarket stocks. Law enforcement customers were very excited to learn that Mesa Tactical was not only working on a shorter stock, but that we were supporting the Benelli M4 right out of the gate.
