So whether you are pro-AR500 or totally against it. We have options. The main issue with AR 500 is the spall/fragmentation. This is typically fixed using truck bed liner /Paxon, Rhyno or line x.ect… What we have done here is we have used resin-impregnated Kevlar and high-impact fibreglass and thermal bonded an anti-spall Sheild to the strike face of the plate. The back face has 5mm high-impact automotive foam for a softer feel and helps with any back face signature. The front face and edge have 3mm of foam. The edge is finished off with a waterproof Lycra / GoreTex elastic band. The front and back are finished off with a 1000 denier nylon 3m VHB bonded waterproof fabric. We feel we have made the very best Hybrid AR500 plate available. Better yet 100% made in Canada . Zero % Chineseium. Even the glue is made in Canada.
