These muzzle thread adapters are handy for the end of your barrel if you for some reason want to install a larger muzzle device on your barrel (might save you from buying multiple muzzle devices) or you’ve got a weird thread that you need converted to a more common thread for muzzle devices.
The sizes are expressed as the barrel size and then the muzzle device size. So a 1/2″-28 to 5/8″-24 adapter means it’s for connecting a 1/2″-28 barrel to a 5/8″-24 muzzle device.
